FIGURES IN MOTION AND PLACES REMEMBERED
GALERIE SARA LILY PEREZ
07 MARCH – 18 APRIL 2026
Galerie Sara Lily Perez presents Figures in Motion and Places Remembered, the first solo exhibition by Filipp Jenikäe with the gallery.
Bringing together a body of work produced in 2025, the exhibition expands Jenikäe’s investigation of urban architecture and collective experience. Street façades, public leisure spaces, stadium environments, and high-rise corridors unfold across tightly layered compositions in which structure and movement coexist.
In these works, the city is not depicted as a singular site but as an accumulation of image and rhythm. Crowds are embedded into architectural frameworks, and signage operates as both spatial element and cultural marker. Spectacle and everyday life are placed on equal footing, reflecting the way contemporary environments are shaped by repetition, media, and shared memory.
The exhibition marks a concentrated development within the artist’s practice, foregrounding scale and structural clarity.
