About the event
The Garden of Eden, traditionally understood as a mythical place of innocence and origin, appears in this exhibition as a broken and reassembled landscape understood as a process: defragmentation implies not only disintegration but also the attempt to create a new order from fragments. In the interplay between Selzer, Eckert, and Sambo-Richter, the Garden of Eden emerges as a place of desire, vulnerability, and radical transformation.
