About the event

ARTIST TALK: DEFRAGMENTING EDEN | FREE ENTRY

Galerie Sara Lily Perez invites you to an evening of conversation with Tanja Selzer, Laura Eckert, and Daniel Sambo-Richter, whose works form the acclaimed exhibition Defragmenting Eden. The talk will offer an in-depth exploration of artistic practice at the intersection of figuration, materiality, and mythology.

Engaging with the themes of fragmentation, sensuality, and renewal, the discussion will trace how each artist reconfigures the mythic Garden of Eden through distinct formal vocabularies: Selzer’s psychologically charged paintings of the gaze, Eckert’s sculptural reinterpretations of the body through reclaimed wood, and Sambo-Richter’s abtract landscapes. Together, their reflections open a dialogue on the contemporary condition of humanity and nature as perpetually in flux disrupted yet regenerative.

The program will conclude with an audience Q&A and informal reception in the exhibition space.
