HELOISA CORRÊA

Corrêa’s practice centers on the tactile and intuitive possibilities of painting, drawing from her Brazilian heritage and experiences of migration, she explores the interplay between memory, landscape, and bodily sensation. Her works often emerge from spontaneous gestures, layered pigments, textured surfaces, and organic forms, evoking the rhythms of nature and the passage of time. Through this embodied approach, Corrêa invites viewers to encounter her art as a space of presence, where personal history and collective experience converge in the act of making. Her recent projects investigate the porous boundaries between self and environment, tracing how identity is shaped by both place and process.
