THOMAS DELAROZIERE

Represented by Galerie Sara Lily Perez since 2026

Thomas Delaroziere (born 1994 in Marseille, France) is a French-Martiniquais painter based in Berlin. Trained in architecture and with a professional background in illustration and storyboarding, he brings a unique blend of structural discipline and raw intuition to his practice. He draws deep inspiration from the lush, untamed landscapes of Martinique where he was raised, as well as themes of memory, identity, and ancestral legacy.

His works primarily focus on oil paintings that evoke tropical terrains, capturing dense jungles, waterfalls, sea horizons, and the subtle trace of human presence. Luminous night scenes and threshold spaces are recurring motifs within compositions influenced by Impressionism, characterized by an exploration of genius loci the spirit of place.

Delaroziere balances structured form, rooted in his family lineage of craftsmanship, with atmospheric, organic storytelling. His paintings develop through a deep emotional translation of landscapes shaped by myth and time. Particularly through his focus on the Jardin Créole (Creole Garden), he has developed a personal visual language centered on connection, environment, and poetic resistance.
