Accessibility Statement

Last reviewed: 16 October 2026.

Galerie Sara Lily Perez wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification or other assistive technology. We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA, as our technical reference. We have not had the website audited by an external expert, and we do not claim that it fully meets these guidelines.

What we have checked

On 16 October 2026 we tested the main pages (home, artists, an artist page, an artwork, Collecting, exhibitions, editions, FAQ, About, contact, careers, collaboration, event venue, login and cart) in light and dark mode with the automated tool axe-core, using the WCAG 2.2 A and AA rules. After we corrected one colour contrast problem, no rule failed. We also checked the following by hand:

  • The language of the site is set to English, and every page has a "Skip to content" link.
  • Menus, the artwork slideshows and the FAQ can be used with the keyboard; focused elements are visibly outlined.
  • The site follows your device's "reduce motion" setting and does not play slideshows automatically.
  • Form fields have visible labels, and errors are announced next to the field they concern.
  • Images have text alternatives, and the layout adapts to small screens and to zoom.
  • A dark mode is available, and the site follows your device setting.

Known limitations

  • Automated tools find only part of all accessibility problems. We have not yet tested the site with screen-reader users.
  • Many artwork images have a short text alternative that names only the artist. We are adding descriptions step by step.
  • PDF documents (press releases, CVs and portfolios) have not been checked for accessibility. Ask us for the content in another format.
  • Payment and sign-in pages of other providers (Stripe, Google) are outside our control.
